YMCA Camp Chandler Partners with Youth Annual Fund

2009 Campaign goal: $60,000
Our CampAnnual Fund provides direct financial assistance, subsidizes our Leadership Development program, and enhances the over-all Camp program.
Purpose of the Campaign
- Foster a sense of co-ownership and involvement of Y staff, volunteers & participants
- Provide funding for mission-based programs that require subsidy.
- Support the YMCA’s financial assistance program
- Share the YMCA Story by campaigning face to face.
This past summer, over 190 campers who otherwise could not afford the Camp experience received $65,524 in direct financial assistance to attend YMCA Camp Chandler. To see a full report of how our Partners with Youth dollars were used last year, click here.
Who benefits
- Campers and their families who could otherwise not afford the Camp Chandler experience
- Leaders in Training and Jr. Counselors and their families
- Students participating in Outdoor Education
- Children and families from such community organizations such as
- Angel Tree
- Boys and Girls Clubs
- The Abdullam House
- The Family Sunshine Center
- Y’s Unlimited
